FD Tracker ("the app") is a personal fixed deposit tracking tool. It is not a bank, lender, financial institution, or investment platform, is not affiliated with any bank, and does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice or services of any kind. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Every fixed deposit you add — principal, bank name, rate, dates, and any withdrawal or maturity events — is stored only in a local database on your own device. There is no user account, no login, and no backend server for this data to travel to or be stored on. Nobody, including the developer of this app, can see, access, or recover it. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it, since nothing is kept anywhere else.
If you enable a maturity reminder, the app schedules a local notification directly on your device for the date you choose. This scheduling happens entirely on-device and is never sent anywhere.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand anonymous, aggregate usage — for example, which screens are opened or how often a fixed deposit is added — so the app can be improved over time. Analytics events only ever contain event names and small categorical details (such as a compounding frequency); they never include FD amounts, bank names, or anything that identifies what is actually in your fixed deposits.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob (banner-free — rewarded and interstitial ad formats only) to support continued development. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, governed by Google's own privacy policy. No FD data is ever included in an ad request.
An optional "remove ads" subscription (monthly or yearly) is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Payment details are handled by Google and never seen by this app or its developer.
You can export your data as a CSV file or a full local database backup at any time from Settings. These files are created on your device and shared through your own device's share sheet, to a destination you choose — the app itself never uploads or sends them anywhere on its own.
Every figure the app shows — projected interest, maturity value, daily earnings, growth charts — is an estimate calculated purely from the details you enter. These are for personal tracking and planning only, are not guaranteed to match your bank's actual calculations, fees, or applicable taxes, and should never be treated as financial advice. Always confirm official figures directly with your bank or financial institution.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
