Phone Checker  ·  Last updated: 25 July 2026

Phone Checker ("the app") runs a 60-point diagnostic check on your phone's screen, sensors, cameras, sound, battery, connectivity and more. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

Your test reports

Reports generated by a check (test results, device model, scores) are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to any server we control — we don't have servers that receive your report data. A report is only shared with anyone else if you explicitly tap Export and choose where to send the PDF yourself. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Permissions the app uses

Each permission below is used only inside its matching test, to measure and display a result on your screen:

None of the above is transmitted anywhere by the app — it's read, shown on-screen, and (if you export) written into your local PDF.

Analytics

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as which screens are opened, which checks are run, and the app's chosen language. This data does not include your test results, device identifiers tied to you personally, or any content from your reports.

Advertising

The free version shows interstitial ads served by Google AdMob, shown between checks and after exporting a report — never in the middle of a test. AdMob may use your advertising ID to show more relevant ads, as described in Google's privacy policy. Subscribing to remove ads stops this.

Subscriptions

The optional monthly/yearly subscription is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment details.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
